**What you'll be doing...**:
Reporting to the Manager of Standards and Innovation, the Bus Shelter Specialist will be integral in streamlining the process of design, installation, and life cycle analysis of bus stops and shelters across the province. The role will require significant collaborative efforts across multiple departments and partners at BC Transit to enable internal and external customer’s one point of contact for all their bus stop needs. The role will involve using technology and innovative methods to enhance the user experience by researching new platforms for delivery.

**What you'll bring to the table...**:
We value lifelong learners and have found the following combination of education and experience allows people to be successful in this role:

- Post-secondary degree in Business, Computer Science, or Engineering or educational equivalent/work experience
- Three (3) years’ experience assisting complex construction or transportation projects is an asset
- Experience coordinating projects and/or project components, preferably large scale Capital Projects
- Experience with KPI creation and reporting
- Knowledge of zoning and permit requirements, CCDC contracts, and other requirements related to commercial facility construction is an asset
