**You as a “MEIT Low Voltage Systems Coordinator” will**:
- Support MEIT Project Manager in managing the Low Voltage M&E and IMIT components of a construction project.
- Support the preparation of construction schedule in conjunction with the Project Superintendent and the Project Manager
- Prepare regular, timely and accurate billings for the Low Voltage M&E and IMIT components of a project, and assists the MEIT Project Manager to ensure timely payment of subcontractor billings
- Monitor in conjunction with the MEIT Superintendent, a project’s material and labour costs for Low Voltage M&E and IMIT components and assure accurate quality reporting is being conducted
- Assist the MEIT Project Manager leading project meetings, determining the status of the project in terms of scheduling and costing and solve complex technical issues
- Assist the MEIT team in driving commissioning and closeout activities for M&E and IMIT systems
- Assist MEIT Project Managers and Superintendents in updating and achieving schedule requirements, Low Voltage M&E and IMIT RFI’s and shop drawings as well as administrate Low Voltage M&E and IMIT project completion requirements
- Review Low Voltage M&E and IMIT changes received from the architects and engineers to ensure they are complete and up to standards and review subcontractor prices on these changes
- Work with other ED Staff work are experts in M_E Systems, Architectural Systems
**Is this the right role for you?**
- You have a construction-related degree/diploma and 3-5 years of mechanical and electrical construction experience or an equivalent combination of technical training and experience
- You have a construction-related degree/diploma and two years of Low Voltage M&E or IMIT construction experience or an equivalent combination of technical training and experience
- You have a working knowledge of Low Voltage M&E and IMIT systems, principles and practices
- Exposure to Data Networks, Wireless Networks, Structured Cabling and Security Systems (CCTV, Access Control) considered an asset
- You have the ability to proactively identify and document any problems/conflicts and effectively manage and resolve them
- Knowledge and experience with Overall Building Control, Automation, and Security systems would be an asset
- Have experience and abilities to utilize and input data to Digital Document control system related to IMIT systems
