**Description**:
As a Pharmacy Technician Student, all work will be supervised closely and double checked. Work performed will include tasks such as labelling, packaging that is double checked; putting away inventory and other duties as required that are within scope of the unlicensed technician student.

**Education**:

- Graduate of an Accredited Pharmacy Technician College

**Competencies**:

- General knowledge of MEDITECH Pharmacy modules
- Knowledge of Pharmacy automation, including: Automated Dispensing Units and packagers
- Familiarity with all processes and technology related to medication distribution
- Sound problem solving, communications (oral and written), conflict resolution and decision making skills
- Excellent organizational skills and time management
- Demonstrate commitment to the professional growth and development of self and others
- Demonstrate commitment to the concepts of Continuous Quality Improvement and Customer Service
- Highly motivated team player
