We are looking for an Architectural Design Lead with extensive Design Production, Revit and Leadership skills to join our Projects team.

As an integral member of the Design team, you will be reporting to our Architectural Design Managers and leading a team of Architectural Designers and Senior Architectural Designers in developing design solutions for various projects and stages from Concept Design-Schematic Design
- Design Development to Contract Administration.

The Design team will utilize their Revit expertise in completing the design production, detailing and coordinating a range of unique, complex and high-quality projects such as Mid to High-Rise, Mixed-use, Residential and Commercial projects of varying scales.

Your manager and colleagues will be guiding you in introducing you to the project, requirements, and systems as well as collaborating with you in developing you in achieving your objectives.

**As an Architectural Design Lead, you will**:

- Define client’s requirements, specifications, budget, timelines and applicable Building Codes
- Participate and contribute to the preparation of client presentations that showcase the projects design solutions as required throughout a project’s lifecycle
- Formulate and prepare design presentation strategies and presentations
- Develop and lead Architectural Designers and Senior Architectural Designers in designing solutions for various complex projects
- Lead, create and develop a design for various stages from Concept Design-Schematic Design
- Design Development to Contract Administration
- Manage Design team during the implementation of design to ensure clarity and quality of concept are maintained through detail level
- Monitoring project budget and schedule related to design team efforts
- Utilize Revit to develop, coordinate and execute technical design details, drawings and documents that successfully meet design intent and project
- Ensure that the production adheres to drawing standards and procedures
- Incorporate production information into tender documentation and contract documents
- Continuously developing skills and knowledge of Revit, Building Codes and municipal By-laws
- Conducting material and product research as required for project development
- Collaborating with other discipline team leaders

**To help you in achieving your objectives you will have**:

- A bachelors/master's degree in architecture/design/relevant field
- Advanced skills in Revit and AutoCAD
- 6 Plus years of experience working in Architecture and Design production of Mid to High-Rise, Mixed-use, Residential and Commercial projects
- 6 Plus years of experience using Revit & AutoCAD for creating concept diagrams and presentation materials
- 4 Plus years of experience in leading a developing a team of Architectural Designer
- Experienced and knowledgeable of Ontario Building Codes and Municipal By-Laws
- Familiarity with the City of Toronto approval processes and submission documents
- OAA / AATO membership / Architectural license is an advantage
