**Student summer job as a Vineyard Worker**
**Employer: Planters Ridge Winery**
**Location: Port Williams, NS Canada**

Planters Ridge is at the forefront of Nova Scotia’s growing wine industry. With nearly 30 acres planted in three different Annapolis Valley microclimates. We grow both European (vitis vinifera) and select hybrid grape varieties.

We are seeking full-time seasonal vineyard workers for the 2023 season. No experience is required. You will be trained by our experienced Team.
You will have the opportunity to work closely with management, an exciting opportunity to learn more about our local wine industry.

You will have the opportunity to work side by side on a daily basis with our experienced Vineyard Manager who is professionally trained in viticulture and winemaking.
- With or without experience, should be able to work outdoors in any weather conditions, including light rainy
- Current drivers License & reliable transportation
- Great work ethic & attention to detail
- Punctuality
- Occasionally work in the wine cellar performing such tasks as bottling or packing wine boxes
- Great to have: _
- Experience or training in Horticulture, Viticulture or general farming
- Experience with heavy or/and light equipment: tractors with attachments, forklifts, and pick-up trucks with trailer

This job requires you to work Monday to Friday from 7:30am to 4:00pm. You may be required to occasionally work on weekends or longer hours as the season progresses.
