Job Summary:
As Maintenance Manager, you play an integral role in the overall utilization of company assets. Adequate and prompt service on Hunter equipment is paramount, the maintenance manager is responsible for the overall efficiency of Hunter power units by pioneering a proactive approach to maintain Hunter equipment. This position involves working with staff in a respectful manner as well maintain positive relationships with venders. Process optimization is a core function of this position. We are looking for someone with hands-on experience in the Trucking field with a clear understanding of the right way to fix equipment at the best possible price. As Maintenance Manager your needed to motivate the Maintenance staff and venders while auditing their work for KPI determination. PO numbers and work orders are all approved by the Maintenance Manager and sent to Ownership for final signoff and vender payment. This position involves computer skills and hopefully some previous experience with TMS systems that organize the department. Maintenance Manager will be able to leverage our in-house HR Department to support with staffing requirements as well have full support from the Operations Department to help with your various needs and ideas for improvement.

**Responsibilities**:

- Audit and Approve Vender invoices
- Approve PO numbers in real time with support from Maintenance Coordinator
- support and train new maintenance staff
- Vender part negotiations
- Process driven, review process and find areas for improvement
- Review Maintenance Coordinators performance based of Job Description
- Support Maintenance if / when the team is falling behind
- Support with offsite repairs by helping source venders at the most economical manner.
- Budget driven
- Performance driven
- ensure overall maintenance process is being upheld from:

- real time work orders
- part stock compliance
- driver coaching
- recommendations on minor or major defect, truck is operable or not
- Warranty follow up
- Rental company follow up for reimbursement for repairs
- ensure adequate staff and backup venders to maintain equipment
- be proactive-backup venders
- Supervisor all maintenance staff / Venders at Belle River Terminal
- PM compliance on trucks and trailers
- work with operations to review priority, use this in your cost equation for repair
- AZ License is a bonus, not a must.
- Mechanics license is highly encouraged, not a must
- at least 5 years in the Trucking Maintenance Field
- Other duties as required by Sr. management

**Salary**: $30.00-$36.00 per hour
