As we continue to grow, we've created a new position to support an incredible transit project. This is an exciting opportunity for a Project Contracts Manager to join the team.
- As a senior commercial representative on the project, your responsibilities will include but may not be limited to:

- Commercial/Contractual Management for major infrastructure projects.
- Manage and ensure implementation of commercial processes and procedures to deliver key commercial requirements for the business and achieve continuous improvement.
- Work closely with the design team ensuring that all relationships are professionally and appropriately managed to provide commercial services to the Client to agreed standards.
- Ensure effective commercial management of contracts to agree contract changes; analysis, negotiation, and agreement of claims.
- Lead commercial meetings with stakeholders.
- Support the resident engineering team and embed commercial practices and expertise on contracts and deliver a consistent approach for the management of commercial issues, ensuring that appropriate contemporaneous records are kept supporting commercial negotiations.
- Provide mentoring, training, and development to the resident engineering team on administrative duties and responsibilities under the works contracts.
- Project budget/expenditure forecasting.
- Management of change control on behalf of the Client.
- Subcontract procurement and final account approval.
- Estimating/pricing of new/ additional scope.
- Developed experience with relevant commercial management, project management or engineering degree, and experience in the following disciplines:

- Contract Management / Contract Administration
- Commercial management / Claims management
- Cost control / Project budgeting
- Procurement
- Excellent report writing skills.
- Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with clients and colleagues through.
- Excellent presentation. influencing, negotiating and communication skills
- Customer focus - the ability to engage in sound relationships with the customer project team
- Significant experience in administering contracts and commercial strategies aligned to business drivers and operational goals, operating within a commercially sound governance model
- Construction background and experience in a collaborative design build environment
