Position Summary:
Maintains the building in clean and orderly condition.

SHIFT: Sunday - Friday 8pm
- 6am (10 hour shifts x 4 days a week )

Start time and shift may change based on business needs.

Some overtime may be required.

Salary based position: Around $40,000 Annually

Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain the facility and associated paperwork to meet AIB and other food safety standards.- Sweep, mop, scrub and vacuum; may include hallways, stairs and office space within the distribution center.- Empty trash and garbage containers and cleans snow and debris from walkways and ramps- Perform inspections of cleaning equipment and reports findings.- Sort materials, such as waste, wood, paper or plastics into appropriate areas.- Operate plastic baler and waste-, cardboard
- compactors.- Operate industrial cleaning equipment such as walk behind floor scrubber and ride on floor scrubber.- Perform other duties as assigned.

Education, Skills & Competencies:
- Employees in all warehouse positions must be able to immediately perceive auditory warning signals such as bells, alarms, and horns that are used to warn employees of the start-up, movement, or approach of equipment (including forklifts, dockstocker, pallet jacks, conveyors, trucks, and other equipment operated inside or outside the warehouse), mechanical abnormalities, and similar risk situations during warehouse operations.- Ability to work in all three zone environments such as freezer, cooler and grocery.- Ability to read, write and communicate in English.- Ability to read and understand information on a Material Safety Data Sheet, and adhere to safety regulations and procedures.- Ability to work independently and within team environment.- Must be able to operate powered industrial vehicle (PIV), vacuum cleaner and other various types of equipment.
