Reporting directly to the Grocery Replenishment Manager, the Replenishment Analyst will work in collaboration with a diverse group of stakeholders, including Category Management, the Distribution Centre and vendor partners, and be responsible for a variety of day-to-day Supply Chain related tasks that help the company achieve its performance targets and operational objectives.
**Replenishment Analyst, Role Highlights**:
Maintain adequate Distribution Centre inventories to meet anticipated store demand for regularly replenished products;
Identify areas of opportunity as it relates to the Replenishment team and the Replenishment Analyst's role and responsibilities;
Create, distribute, and maintain all types of purchase orders for the Grocery division, for domestic, US and offshore vendors;
Develop and maintain cross functional relationships, both internally and externally to promote strong communication and collaboration as it relates to supply chain requirements;
Follow-up on exception based reporting such as out-of-stocks, late arrivals, etc. to ensure a positive in-stock position for all SKUs;
Ensure all promotional, seasonal and daily product flow is executed on-time and in full;
Identify and escalate inventory-related issues impacting the business, with proposed options for resolution;
Identify opportunities to balance and optimize turns, capacity and transportation efficiencies;
Identify improvements to SKU parameters (i.e. vendor minimums, case quantities) and/or Purchase Orders to minimize cost and improve efficiencies;
Action adjustments to store orders due to changes in new store openings, performance, or missed bookings.
Replenishment Analyst, Key Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of experience in the retail replenishment environment;
Strong communication, problem solving and collaboration skills, ability to interact with all levels and areas of the organization;
Strong organizational and analytical skills;
Customer focused and action oriented;
Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, able to prioritize and multi-task;
Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
Proficiency with MS Office, with intermediate to advanced Excel skills;
Working knowledge of AS400 system, an asset;
Aptitude and interest in logistics and process improvement.
