**OPPORTUNITY OVERVIEW**:
The Regulatory and Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) Manager is responsible for the quality and compliance of all products manufactured by Charlotte Products Ltd. The Regulatory & QA/QC Manager is a leader for the Charlotte Laboratory Team and supports Quality Systems Implementation, Product Certification, Technical Support, and Regulatory Compliance.
**LOCATION**: Peterborough, Ontario (ON-SITE)
**REPORTS TO**: Chief Operating Officer
**PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Responsible for the Quality Standards of all established protocols and processes.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory bodies, including but not limited to Health Canada, EPA, and FDA, etc.
- Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures related to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
- Coach, Develop, and Lead the QA/QC Technicians.
- Approves product lab analysis and ensure all quality standards are followed.
- Investigates customer complaints.
- Involved directly with audits for all certifying bodies.
- Lead the Laboratory Team to ensure consistent quality.
- Responsible for the quality of all incoming raw materials and packaging components.
- Ensure Regulatory Affairs, including TDG and GHS information is up to date.
- Conduct efficacy and stability evaluations if required.
- Participate in product quality investigations and resolution.
- Provide technical support to the Laboratory Team, customers, and sales staff.
- Involved with developing and approving labels for products
- Other duties as assigned
**EXPERIENCE**:
- Proven experience as a quality assurance/regulatory manager or relevant role
- Thorough knowledge of methodologies of quality assurance and standards
- Excellent numerical skills and understanding of data analysis/statistical methods
- Strong computer skills
- Outstanding communication skills and interpersonal skills required to deal with staff and customers.
- Great attention to detail, organizational skills, and a results driven approach
- Excellent organizational and leadership abilities
- Reliable and trustworthy
**EDUCATION**:
- Bachelor of Science in Chemistry / Biology
- Quality Assurance Training/Certification
