**IT Helpdesk Technician**

**LOCATION**:Innisfil, ON

**WORK ENVIRONMENT**: In-Office

**TYPE**:Full-Time, Permanent (Monday-Friday)

**SUMMARY**:
The IT Helpdesk Technician will report to the IT Manager and will work and take the technical direction from the IT Technical Support Lead. The IT Helpdesk Associate will be responsible for providing day to day IT support to JJE employees across Canada and the US.

**POSITION REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Diploma in Computer Studies or related program
- Microsoft Certifications, VMware Certifications and/or A+ certified considered an asset
- Some end-user support experience and a passion for customer service
- Self-directed and excellent problem solving and communication skills
- Proficient with Microsoft server technologies
- Working knowledge of Windows operating systems and software licensing
- Technical and troubleshooting proficiency in Windows 11, Windows10, TCP/IP, Windows Server 2012/2016/2022, Microsoft Office 365, Azure Active Directory, Active Directory (users and computers), Antivirus software, printer setup/maintenance, peripherals, and iPhone setup and maintenance, VPN, and general networking (TCP/IP, DHCP) knowledge
- Understanding of Intune Devices enrollment as well as software packaging tools

**POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Provide day-to-day IT support across all company branches including LAN/ WAN infrastructure, Windows Servers, PC's, Tablets, and Printer technology
- Provide direct user support including troubleshooting network connection problems, hardware and software issues, setup of new Laptops and Cell Phones.
- Troubleshoot and implement corrective action procedures and/or escalate issues to the IT Technical Support Lead other technical resources as appropriate
- Works with hardware vendors and third-parties to resolve equipment failures/problems
- Liaise the IT Technical Support Lead to implement Installs/Move/Add/Change requests for desktop and laptop computer systems
- Contributes to the department goals by accomplishing related duties as required
- Ship and track IT Equipment and update the IT assets database
- Other duties as assigned
