_**Equity Diversity & Inclusion (EDI) Coaching Support**_
- Coaching is considered a critical part of developing a strong sport system at the community level. This position will have the opportunity and challenge to mobilize and support this important group of primarily volunteers across Nova Scotia. We are seeking an energetic self-starter to lead the development and implementation of community coaching programs while supporting initiatives that create a more diverse, equitable and inclusive environment for coaches in sport. This position reports directly to the Director of Coaching for the CSI Atlantic._

What is the _Canadian Sport Institute Atlantic_?
The Canadian Sport Institute Atlantic (CSIA) develops partnerships and delivers programs that help to grow high performance sport in Atlantic Canada at the community, provincial, university, and national levels. We provide performance and life services to athletes along with employment and educational opportunities for coaches.

**Description of Employment**

**Job Title**:EDI Coaching Support

**Employment Status**:Full Time

**Working Locations**:Halifax, NS - some evening and weekend work as well as intra
provincial travel.

**Entry Level Criteria**:

- Minimum three years of employment experience in sport or related field
- Post-secondary degree or diploma in Coaching, Sports Marketing/Management, or related field; Master’s level preferred. Education/Training in EDI practices preferred
- Minimum of five years of coaching
- Proven capacity to develop and manage major projects to successful and timely completion

**Other Criteria**:

- High degree of professionalism
- Ability to prioritize, multi-task and meet deadlines
- Proven ability as a successful collaborator
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Creative and able to work independently
- Competence in both French and English is an asset

Nova Scotia.

- Safe Sport programs for coaches
- Community Coaching Roundtables

The salary range for this position will begin at $55,000 and be dependent on qualifications.

**Critères de niveau d’entrée**:

- Minimum de trois ans d’expérience dans le domaine du sport ou dans un domaine connexe
- Diplôme d’études postsecondaires ou diplôme en entraînement, en marketing sportif ou en gestion des sports ou dans un domaine connexe; niveau de maîtrise

privilégié. Formation dans les pratiques sur la diversité, l’inclusion et l’équité, de préférence
- Minimum de cinq ans d’encadrement
- Capacité éprouvée à élaborer et à gérer de grands projets pour assurer la réussite et l’achèvement en temps opportun
