**Career Details**

Job Title: Pipefitters (Journeymen & Apprentices)

Number of Openings: 4+

**Job Type**: Full-Time/Temporary

Minimum Level of Education: Journeyman Certificate or Registered Apprentice Levels 3&4

Years of Related Experience: 3+

Locations to be Supported: 3 different job sites in Fort Saskatchewan/Redwater area

Duration: 1 month+

**Position Summary**

Other responsibilities include:

- Strong mechanical aptitude with a focus on quality.
- Calculating weight of materials and/or spools to ensure proper equipment is used.
- Reading and interpreting client and company-supplied construction fabrication drawings and specifications.
- Measuring, cutting, threading, grooving, bending, and assembling and installing piping, valves, and fittings.
- Joining pipe sections/related equipment and securing into position.
- Using testing equipment to check systems for leaks.
- Complying with ONEC’s and client safety policies and procedures.
- Must be receptive to working with short notice for call outs, nights, and overtime upon client request.
- Certified Journeyperson or Registered Apprentice
- 3-5 years of applicable experience
- Must have a valid Driver’s License
- Must be capable of physical labour
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Attention to detail and the ability to meet quality standards
- Organizational and time management skills
