La Faculté des sciences de l'Université McGill se veut un chef de file en matière de découverte scientifique et de recherche de solutions essentielles au développement économique et humain, notamment en ce qui a trait aux sciences de l'environnement, aux nouveaux matériaux et aux nouvelles technologies. Nous sommes à la recherche d'un stagiaire en communications pour se joindre à notre équipe et nous aider à partager les histoires de la Faculté des sciences. Ce à quoi vous pouvez vous attendre:

Responsabilités:

- Contribuer à faire connaître les recherches, les étudiants, les publications, les événements et les autres initiatives de la Faculté des sciences, conformément aux missions et à l'orientation stratégique de l'Université et de la Faculté.
- Générer du contenu écrit lié à la Faculté (articles, posts sur les médias sociaux, newsletter, copie web, etc.)
- Participer à la gestion des comptes de médias sociaux de la Faculté des sciences (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram) et du bulletin d'information.
- Produire des vidéos sur la faculté des sciences, ses étudiants et son corps professoral.
- Aider à promouvoir les activités/événements de la Faculté des sciences dans le but d'engager la communauté mcgilloise.
- Photographier des initiatives et des événements de recherche
- Assister l'équipe de communication de la Faculté des sciences dans la production médiatique
- Réaliser des entrevues avec des membres du corps professoral et des étudiants sur le campus
- Collaborer avec le personnel de la Faculté des sciences à d'autres tâches multimédias, le cas échéant.

Autres compétences et/ou aptitudes requises
- Excellente communication écrite
- Expérience avérée de la production et du montage de vidéos pour les médias sociaux, y compris des bobines Instagram
- Expérience avérée de la vidéo et de la photographie dans des conditions d'éclairage et de son variées.
- Fiable, avec de solides compétences en matière d'organisation et de gestion du temps.
- Capacité à travailler de manière indépendante avec une supervision limitée
- Familiarité avec les outils et les plateformes de médias sociaux (Facebook,
- Twitter, Instagram, Hootsuite, Envoke, etc.)
- Expérience en graphisme et familiarité avec Canva, un atout
- Connaissance de la Faculté des sciences, un atout
- Maîtrise du français (capacité à rédiger et à traduire du contenu) un atout
- Familiarité avec le système Drupal WMS (site web de McGill) un atout
- Connaissance du français et de l'anglais

Expérience et formation:

- Diplôme d'études secondaires et deux ans d'expérience pertinente dans le domaine de travail
