**About this Role**

With your depth of experience and knowledge of data and insights, you’ll work closely with leadership teams, providing thought leadership and insights for a host of projects. Your goal? Deliver and communicate world-class, comprehensive analytical support, identify and enhance business opportunities, productivity and efficiency. TD will look to your interpretation of vast and complex data in the form of ongoing, multidimensional insights and relevant data analysis. You’ll use all the analytics tools at your disposal - including profiling tools, segmentation and advanced modelling and analytics - to add new dimension and drive to TD’s business growth and value.

We are looking for someone to lead and cultivate a sizeable team of Business Insights & Analytics professionals/specialists.

**As the Business Insights Specialist, you will**:

- Develop analytic solutions to support insight generation for a variety of ad-hoc requests
- Serve as an authority on a given business domain and provide business expertise to place context around analytics discovery
- Ensure collaboration with partners on business problems/issues and provide fact-based analytical advice that aligns to strategy and drives shareholder value
- Support all relevant projects and initiatives to ensure project data and reporting requirements are met; may also be accountable to lead the team in bridging the gap between analytic outputs and business insights, including improving information presentation/delivery and/or build the presentation of insights back to executive leaders/business partners to drive strategic improvement
- Collaborate with business partners to shape and prioritize ad hoc analysis
- Lead large complex analytics projects to identify opportunities to further optimize our current product suite through self-initiated insights
- Present insights back to executive leaders / business partners to drive strategic improvement

**Requirements**:

Share your most relevant experience, credentials and knowledge for this role, as well as these essential requirements and attributes:

- Bachelor’s degree required, preference in the field of Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Sciences, Computer Science.
5+ years relevant experience in Business Intelligence, Reporting and Insights
2+ years experience in team and stakeholder relationship management
Ability to analyze, organize and prioritize work while meeting multiple deadlines
Ability to work collaboratively, communicate effectively and build relationships across teams and functions
Project management and business analysis competencies ** Assets**
Knowledge of Insurance, notably TDI Life & Health systems and data
Knowledge of computer extraction and data analysis languages (SAS, SQL, Python etc.)
Knowledge of data visualization (Tableau, Power BI, Pandas, NumPy etc.)

Additional Information

This position requires proficiency in a language other than French to support customers, employees or markets located outside the province of Quebec or who require services in a language other than French.
