The **Manufacturing Reliability Site Lead **located in our Belleville, Canada manufacturing facility will drive overall plant effort to improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) and deliver cost savings through building capability in Kellogg - Integrated Work Systems (K-IWS) methodologies, systems and tools. K-IWS methodologies will include but are not limited to safety of people and food, product quality, leadership and service the business, sources of loss, unit cost, and employee methods and performance. The incumbent will influence and impact a departmental operating budget and make decisions to undertake medium and large-scale projects with interaction from Plant manager and Regional MR Leader.

Work environment includes plant, warehouse, and plant grounds. Must be physically capable of extensive walking, climbing, squatting etc. to complete equipment and process inspections. Incumbent must be able to work within timelines and in pressure situations. Public contact required with numerous vendors, trainers, etc. This position may require approximately 10% travel and work/maintenance coverage beyond the normal hours, shift, and on weekends/holidays.

**WORKING RELATIONSHIPS**
- Reports to: Plant Manager.
- Supervises: Manufacturing Reliability(MR) Resources.
- May supervise: Hourly employees.
- Collaborates with: All levels of plant (management, supervisors, hourly) in communication & capability building.

**HERE’S A TASTE OF WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING**
- Leads the Phase Progression Campaign for K-IWS
- Coaches the K-IWS center of excellence (COE) leaders and members
- Maintains appropriate balance between short term business delivery and longer-term strategic priorities
- Responsible for driving cost ideations and diagnostics
- Drives High-Value Projects (Single Minute Exchange of Die, Zero Loss Analysis, Problem Solving - 6W2H, Why-Why), along with tracking the pipeline of identified projects for visibility
- Train and coach leadership and management skills for all plant employees
- Actively supports the teams in the K-IWS/MR activities
- Supports the rest of Leadership in driving the K-IWS implementation
- Participates in defining and executing the Master plan
- Coordinates K-IWS/MR training at all levels
- Communicates K-IWS/MR activities and results
- Integrates the COEs, supports gives and gets
- Coordinates & works closely with Regional K-IWS/MR Directors
- Assures compliance Corporate K-IWS Standards
- Identifies process inefficiencies and sources of loss and coordinates/facilitates activities using cross-functional resources to eliminate them
- Tracks and trends sources of loss, improvements efforts and educates employees along with communicating progress
- Accountable for benchmarking and best practice sharing across the organization
- Supports extending the use of K-IWS improvement tools within Quality, Safety, and Food Safety and for supporting the Manufacturing Reliability process
- Supports team and team approach to solving problems. Maintains positive and productive relations with the hourly workforce, plant management team, and corporate representatives.
- Acts as a technical resource to supervisors and managers
- Performs methods analysis, recommending implementing and documenting improvements
- Drives Standard work efforts and assists in the annual budgeting process.
- Other duties as assigned.

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, manufacturing engineering or in a technical or business field. Master’s Degree in technical or business field Preferred
- Must have Continuous Improvement (Lean, TPM, Six Sigma, K-IWS, IWS, HPO) experience
- Computer skills required—Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
- Effective communication (both written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage complexity
- Organization and planning skills with the ability to prioritize workloads
- Ability to lead cross functional teams and work with people across all levels of the organization
- Demonstrated ability to lead, influence and motivate others
