Applied Industrial Technologies is currently seeking and has an immediate opening for a qualified and motivated individual to fill the position of **Customer Service Representative** at our **Nisku, AB** location.

In this role, you will provide our customers with expert assistance to a wide variety of questions and problems. Unlike most CSR roles, you will build ongoing business relationships with our customers through repeated contact and consultation. As this is a service and parts center, our ability to get customers’ business often depends on your ability to quickly and efficiently provide them with the right parts and/or solutions - especially when customers are experiencing costly equipment breakdowns. You may also occasionally have hands-on duties that will require mechanical aptitude.
- Inside Sales responsibilities
- Directly engaged in all sales activities
- Maintaining up to date knowledge of the company’s service offerings
- Prospecting for new customers and demonstrate product benefits
- Build ongoing relationships with customers
- Providing support to the outside sales force
- Ensuring accurate, timely order processing through the computerized order processing system
- Post-secondary Technical Diploma (such as Mechanical Engineering Technologist) or related
- High proficiency with computers and systems is required; an understanding of work order management systems (such as SAP) would be an asset.
- Ability learn and understand mechanical concepts - experience in a similar industry (specifically Bearings, Power Transmission, Fluid Power or Trades) is considered an asset
- Enthusiastic and exhibits a positive attitude and desire to succeed
- Interest in customer satisfaction and desire to provide excellent service always
- Strong written and verbal communication skills as well as proven problem solving and analytical skills
- Prioritization and organizational skills with the ability to work self-directed
- Demonstrated ability to work in a collaborative manner with a team, managers, and multiple stakeholders
