Associate Dentist

Mint Dental in Port Moody is looking for an associate dentist FT or PT. min 1 year of experience is needed, comfortable in general dentistry ( children, restorative, etc). Modern new office with new equipment and busy patient pool.

**Duties**:

- Perform dental examinations, diagnoses, and treatment plans for patients
- Administer local anesthesia and perform dental procedures such as fillings, extractions, and root canals
- Provide preventive dental care including cleanings, sealants, and fluoride treatments
- Collaborate with dental hygienists and other dental professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and provide oral health instructions
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using electronic dental software (Tracker)
- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure a smooth workflow and efficient patient care

**Requirements**:

- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited dental school
- Valid state dental license in good standing
- Proficiency in medical terminology related to dentistry
- Knowledge of dental office procedures and protocols
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients of all ages, including pediatrics
