**The Opportunity**

**Full time** **Sandblaster**

Our Sandblasters perform sandblasting to all trailers, sub-assemblies and components as required. They also perform preventative maintenance, post-blast inspections, recycling and administrative duties as required. They assist in other areas of the plant when sandblasting work is not underway. We prefer someone with a forklift ticket but can train. Our sandblasters also need to carry out all required work meeting our quality standards and budgeted times but put safety at the forefront.

You have:

- Forklift ticket Level 1 or better preferred
- Bobcat experience
- WHMIS certificate required
- Physical ability to perform the duties of the job
- Safety-conscious attitude
- Ability to recognize and evaluate problems and contribute to their solution
- Ability to perform assigned tasks efficiently and within the parameters of company policies
- Excellent time management skills-you know what and how you do your job impacts the customer
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in the use of hand and power tools.

This is a union position with a starting wage of **$22.78 - $25.63 **depending on experience per the Collective Agreement. **Signing bonus of $500.00.**

**Experience**:

- Sandblasting: 1 year (preferred)
