Magnum Technical Services is growing and we’re searching for people to join our team. At Magnum, we value the importance of teamwork, a positive attitude, and providing a high level of customer service. We are looking for a safety professional to handle all aspects of safety in our organization, as well as company certifications and training.
**Duties**:
- Maintain and ensure accuracy of our Health & Safety Manual
- Coordinating and leading safety meetings
- Leading and managing SiteDocs
- Ensuring we meet all requirements for our COR certification
- Conduct safety audits in our organization
- Point person for all safety programs and relationships with partnering organizations
- Coordinating and managing other industry certifications such as ISNET, TSASK, CWB, etc.
- Manage all aspects of safety for site projects, as well as our shop location in Warman, SK
- Manage employee training records and supporting documentation
- Coordinating and conducting worker safety training, as well as new employee orientations, to instill safety best practices in the workplace
- Ability to manage our Quality Program would be an asset
Qualifications:
- Post-secondary education in a related field or equivalent combination of post-secondary education, trade certification or training and work experience
- NCSO, CRSP or CSP certified or equivalent
- Minimum of 3-5 years experience in the Health and Safety field
- Comprehensive working knowledge of OH&S/OSHA Acts & Regulations
- Have broad knowledge of local government Health & Safety Acts, Policies, Regulations, and Industry Standards
- Have thorough knowledge and experience in health and safety management systems and program implementation
- Willingness to take on various tasks/projects
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Possess the demonstrated ability to motivate self and others
- Demonstrated leadership, project management, and conflict resolution skill
