- **Position Overview**:_

We are currently seeking a full-time Supply Chain Coordinator to join our Oakville, ON team. This role is pivotal in coordinating the buying, leasing, production and delivery process of equipment to service our franchise operators in both Canada and the United States. Working closely with the Supply Chain Manager, you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining our supply chain solutions, ensuring our franchise operators receive unparalleled support and service.
- **Key Responsibilities**:_
- Coordinate with suppliers and franchise operators to deliver the best in customer service and support.
- The Supply Chain Coordinator works closely with the Supply Chain Manager to ensure the best supply chain solutions are achieved.
- Preparation of reports as well as analysing statistical data used to make decisions.
- Working closely with franchise operators and vendors to understand and resolve any equipment related issues.
- **Key skills and qualifications of a Supply Chain Coordinator**:_
- University or College degree (preferably in Manufacturing /Supply Chain)
- Must have technical background or understanding of roll-off trucks or similar equipment
- Skilled with Microsoft Office as well as any industry standard computer programs.
- Organized and detail oriented
- Good understanding of quality control manufacturing process i.e. ASNI, Six Signa etc.
- A highly motivated and positive attitude is essential to this role.
- Solid customer service background and be able to get along with people from all walks of life.
- Understanding of cross-cultural / global issues
- Problem solving and analytics skills are essential, as well as the ability to be able to communicate both verbally and in writing in a clear and concise manner.
- Play a crucial role in developing and maintaining good relationships with vendors and BTDT franchise operators
- Be the liaison between the vendors and franchise operators, with respect to equipment orders and equipment issues
- Experience working in or around commercial vehicles is a benefit
- **Other Duties**:_
- Assisting with the equipment ordering process.
- Making sure suppliers have enough stock to meet demand.
- Create, update and maintain the bin and truck order forms to ensure they contain up to date information. (pricing etc.)
- Update production schedules.
- Assist and participate with weekly production meetings with equipment manufacturers and financing companies.
- Assist Supply Chain Manager, working closely with vendors to maintain proper production specifications and quality control.
- Assist in sourcing new vendors to the Supply Chain.
- Sending and receiving truck and bin order forms. Working with the vendors to get quotes and invoices to the franchise operators.
- Follow up on orders to ensure they are delivered on time to the destination.
- Aiding the Supply Chain Manager in all communications with franchise operators and vendor partners in relation to quality assurance.
- Troubleshoot and provide advice on technical inquiries from franchisees regarding trucks, hook-lifts and dumpsters.
- Initiate and follow-up on corrective action requests on quality issues at the manufacturing plants for our trucks & bins.
- Work with the manufacturers technical department to resolve hook-lift issues experienced by the franchise operator.
- Help expedite truck part orders for the franchise operator to ensure timely delivery.
- Assist manufacturers service manager with recall and warranty work process for the trucks.
- Assist in creating and maintaining truck, dumpster and dash cam spreadsheets that keep track of current demand for the equipment.
- Assist the Supply Chain Manager in creating and maintaining monthly truck royalties report spreadsheet.
- Administering the collection of insurance data from franchise locations.
- Send out and track start-up kit order forms and location specific start-up kit spending.
- Assist in preparing communications for the network with updates on new products or suppliers.
- Organize production meetings with bin vendor partners on an ongoing basis.
- Aiding the Supply Chain Manager in sourcing new potential vendor partners and taking them through the approval process.
- Monitoring the DOT record of the franchise operators and bringing any issues to the attention of the Supper Support Team and Franchise Operators
