Manager (Restore)

Overview:
This position is not a typical management position; the ideal person will lead by example. Habitat for Humanity ReStores accept donations of gently used and new building materials, appliances, furniture, lighting and housewares from individuals and businesses. The product is resold to finance Habitat Huron County in their mission to engage communities to help families build strength, stability and self-reliance through affordable homeownership.

**Duties**:

- Interact with donors to maximize quality of product accepted for re-sale
- Clean / repair product as needed to ensure maximum re-sale value and fast turnover
- Schedule and supervise both paid staff and volunteers - Handle cash transactions and manage finances - Promote exceptional customer service, address and resolve customer issues
- Implement and enforce safety protocols
- Maintain sales records (daily, monthly, annual)

**Experience**:

- minimum 5 years retail experience
- Ability to lift minimum 50 lb
- Strong supervisory skills to lead a team effectively - Microsoft Excel and Word
- Excellent time management skills
- First Aid Certificate

Pay: From $40,000.00 per year
