Hamilton, Canada The Grass Butler Full time

The Grass Butler offers residential and commercial landscape services in Hamilton and surrounding areas.

We are seeking an experienced landscape worker to join our team for the remainder of the 2024 season. In this role you will work closely with the owner, completing regular property maintenance and occasional construction jobs.

The role will start **immediately** through to November**.**

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform various landscape maintenance tasks and construction jobs.
- Engage in heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) and other physically demanding tasks.
- Safely operate all landscape equipment (some experience preferred).
- Maintain daily work schedules, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and on time.
- Conduct daily circle checks of trucks and equipment at the shop and job sites.
- Ensure proper loading of maintenance trailers.
- Adapt to changes and handle unforeseen circumstances with flexibility and composure.
- Stay open to learning new techniques and tasks to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Maintain professional communication with customers.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in the landscape field
- Valid G-license (preferred, not required) and reliable transportation to shop.
- English proficiency, both speaking and writing.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: $18.75 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 38 per week

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
