We are seeking skilled carpenters with a wide base of experience in all aspects of construction.
You should be able to work from oral or written instructions, blueprints or sketches. Must be able to work
independently.
Your day may include a variety of non-routine or emergency repairs, preventive maintenance, leak investigations,
framing, steel stud installation, deck repairs, drywall, door installation, etc.
We prefer a TQ in Carpentry but at minimum you must have at least 5 years of experience; you bring a commitment
to safety and a strong body of knowledge that includes applicable by-laws, codes and regulations, as well as current
standards for your own trade and an understanding of other architectural trades. In addition to fulfilling the technical
aspect of your trade, you must have courteous and effective communication with clients and co-workers alike. You
must have the ability to maintain records, complete reports and complete your work in a timely manner.
A valid BC driver's licence, with a clean driving record, is also required.
