**Position Summary**:
Technical role responsible for leading Production technological projects and activities. Interacts with suppliers and ADP IT support and development groups to implement, support and escalate Production related technology projects and issues. Ensure that plans, schedules, procedures and implementations are completed in a timely manner. Ensures the availability of operator documentation and training on related activities. Supports the development of processing capabilities related to the use of existing and new technologies.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Evaluates and recommends to Production management new technologies and equipment to support Production needs and requirements.
- Presents project progress, proposals and business plans to Production Management.
- Leads and participates in Production projects, including implementing change, efficiency improvements, cost reduction, etc.
- Brings together resources from all ADP and supplier functions needed for the projects.
- Oversees the planning, analysis, implementation, testing and rollout.
- Tracks task completion and communicate to management team.
- Identifies, manages and reports issues/constraints that impact project success.
- Ensures availability and completeness of training materials and operational documentation
- Provides post project support, including problem resolution and/or process revisions.
- Subject matter expert of production equipment and technologies.
- Works with suppliers and internal IT teams to escalate and resolve problems and issues related to equipment & technologies that impact production activities.
- Analyses equipment statistics (usage, failures and breaks, etc.), reports findings and recommendations for equipment upgrades and changes.
- Develops custom programming associated with Print Server file processing requirements and associated database management
- Works with Production management on developing and documenting operational processes and contingency plans.
- Ensure training materials and/or sessions are provided to production services associates to support new/changed processes or implementations.
- Provide assistance to other departments/functional areas regarding production technological projects.
- Ensures compliance with established standards and methodologies: Q&PI, documentation, project planning and security.
- Other duties as assigned

**Education/Experience/Technical/Specialized Skills**:

- College or university degree in a technology field or equivalent work experience
- Strong experience in workflow systemization and development of structured processes.
- Effective trouble-shooting and problem management skills.
- Able to provide solutions for variable situations requiring analytical, interpretative, evaluative and/or constructive thinking
- Proficient in use of standard PC Software; MS Office, etc.
- Strong knowledge of project management techniques
- Effective verbal, written and presentation communication skills
- Demonstrated commitment to teamwork and an ability to act as a Team player (experience working with remote Teams an asset) in an environment that may have limited supervision
- Excellent analytical skills with proven ability to multi-task, analyze and solve problems, organize tasks in logical priority
- Able to influence others to provide solutions for variable situations requiring analytical, interpretative, evaluative and/or constructive thinking
- Strong work ethic and demonstrated initiative coupled with the confidence and ability to anticipate client needs and make recommendations Flexibility/adaptability and the ability to integrate new tools, procedures and work methods
