Kidspace Assistant

Mayfair Clubs offers members access to leading fitness, tennis and squash facilities in four locations across the Greater Toronto Area. For last 50 years, Mayfair has offered the finest quality programs and activities in fitness and racquet sports.

Mayfair is looking for energetic part-time Childcare and Sports Leaders at our Lakeshore Location.

**Position Overview**
- Attends to and ensures the safety and supervision of children and youth (from ages 3 months - 12 years old).
- Lead activities and programs such as: camps, sports classes, birthday parties and special events
- Assist in sport equipment set-up and removal.
- Plan and set up programs on a monthly basis, complete attendance and ensure children are signed in and out.
- Plans and implements age appropriate activities for the children
- Engage students in after school activities such as arts & crafts
- Cleans and tidies Kidspace weekly and disinfects toys weekly
- Ensures the implementation of policies and procedures
- Establish and maintain collaborative relationship with co-workers and members
- Delivers a high level of customer service/is customer service oriented

**Position Requirement**
- First Aid and CPR Certification
- Experience working with children and youth
- Early Childhood Educator Assistant Skills an asset
- Experience in customer services or sales would be an asset
- Experience in coaching sports would be an asset
- Previous camp experience would be an asset
- Must be a minimum of 16 years of age.
- Vulnerable Sector Criminal Background check required
- Must be available to work some evenings and weekends all year round.
- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada without sponsorship.
