**Type of position**: Trainee

Description

As a member of our extensive water resources management team, you’ll be involved in a wide range of projects related to hydrogeological studies as well as the development, management and protection of groundwater resources.

**More specifically, you’ll be required to**:
Carry out and supervise onsite hydrogeological investigation programs, including drilling, observation wells and hydrogeological testing (pumping tests, hydraulic conductivity tests, etc.).
Compile data and interpret hydrogeological testing performed on site.
Help design and implement groundwater sampling programs.
Participate in hydrogeological studies for mining, industrial and civil projects.
Participate in hydrogeological studies to assess environmental impacts.

**Requirements**:
In the process of obtaining a university degree in Geology, Geosciences or Geological Engineering or a master’s degree in Hydrogeology
Strong written and spoken communication skills
Technical writing experience
Ability to meet high demand for high quality, organized and consistent results

**Asset**: experience with various numerical modelling tools such as FEFLOW, MODFLOW/MT3D and AQTESOLV
