We are currently recruiting at this time for **Carpenters** **(all levels) **to join the crew at the **LRT Rehabilitation** project in **Edmonton, AB**

**Responsibilities**:

- Be able to comprehend blueprint readings and prepare layouts
- Understand industrial concrete forming, be able to build concrete forms, and other structures
- Complete rough and finishing carpentry tasks, while utilizing appropriate math skills
- Check completed units to be sure they are level, square, plumb and the right size, shape and location
- Look for, and fix deficiencies
- Checks accuracy of work, and makes adjustments as required
- Studies blueprints for work planning
- Informs immediate supervisor of abnormalities or defects and/or takes appropriate measures
- Perform other related duties as assigned
- Must be available for multiple shifts including nights and weekends

**Requirements**:

- Preference will be given to a Journeyman Carpenter Ticket from a recognized provincial training authority or be a Registered Carpenter Apprentice
- Non-ticketed carpenters must provide proof of hours relevant to the industrial Carpentry trade
- Fall Protection and Confined Space is considered an asset
- Ability to coach, mentor and train apprentices
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Describe and point out safety compliance and regulatory issues
- Must be able to work various shifts (nights/weekends)
