**What we’re looking for**:
As an Owner/Operator (10-Ton Reefer) with Envision Cold, you will provide an essential service transporting food products to various facilities in and around the Greater Vancouver area. Your start time will be between 5:00AM - 9:00AM depending on customer; will typically work 6 days per week.

Please note, you **must o**wn and operate your own truck**, with the requirement of truck noted below.

With pay rate plus commissions, etc., potential earnings of between $12,000 - $14,000 per month_**

**What you’ll do (including, but not limited to)**:

- Transport refrigerated food products and cargo to and from specified locations as instructed by company dispatchers.
- Strategically plan travel routes to ensure that all deliveries are completed in a timely manner.
- Review dispatchers' instructions before deliveries to prevent any errors or miscommunications.
- Perform inspections of the designated truck before and after each delivery to ensure that it is mechanically sound.
- Promptly inform management of any mechanical issues that render the designated truck unroadworthy.
- Maintain a logbook with an accurate account of the number of hours worked, rest periods, and mileage covered.
- Submit cargo documents to customers and obtain customer signatures to confirm receipt of the correct cargo.
- Notify dispatch of any damaged cargo.
- Supervise the safe loading and unloading of cargo.

**What you’ll bring to the role**:

- 1-year minimum commercial driving with experience navigating the Downtown Vancouver area.
- Valid Class 3 Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Completion of a tractor-trailer driver training program is encouraged.
- Physically able to assist with unloading product into coolers as needed.
- Sound knowledge of road safety regulations, loading and unloading procedures, as well as weight restrictions.
- Experience and responsibility for truck maintenance.
- The ability to utilize GPS systems, road maps, and routing software.
- The ability to concentrate for extended periods.
- Excellent time management, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication skills including strong spoken and written English.
- Positive attitude and team player.

- Minimum 2010+ Reefer Unit (Strong, Well Maintained, Reliable)
