We are currently seeking a Clinical Social Worker/Registered Psychotherapist with at least one year of experience in the field of mental health therapy. We are a team comprised of social workers, psychotherapists and student interns looking for someone who is a good fit for our practice.

**PLEASE NOTE: PREFERENCE WILL BE GIVEN FOR BIPOC APPLICANTS**

Why join our team?
- Flexibility in creating your own schedule (with some limitations based on office space)
- 8-25 clinical hours per week, evenings and weekends - must be willing to start slow and add hours over time
- Pay per direct client hour employment model - flexibility of hours, starting pay range of $80-$100 per direct client hour (discussion of rate of pay is an option)
- You choose your own initial schedule based on office availability
- Regular group and peer supervision as well as consultation available

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Delivery of high-quality, psychotherapeutic treatment to individuals, couples, families and groups (minimum of 8 hours per week - hours can be extended upon discussion)
- Maintenance of required documentation and paperwork pertaining to clinical interactions
- Follow the code of ethics outlined by the College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers/CRPO
- Maintain case notes that are a model of good record keeping and documenting
- Attend monthly group consultation (optional)

**REQUIREMENTS**:
Education and Experience
- Master of Social Work (MSW) from an educational institution recognized by the College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers or equivalent
- Registered in good standing with the College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers or College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario
- Registered in good standing with the CRPO
- Experience in clinical social work/mental health counselling

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Advanced counselling skills demonstration for both clinical and sub-clinical issues across a wide variety of people groups
- Experience or willingness to work with children and couples
- Specific training, such as, CBT, DBT, Narrative and/or trauma treatment, Gottman Method, EFT, EMDR, or similar
- Computer literate
- Need to have own professional liability insurance
- Willingness to help the practice grow by referrals, connecting on social media or networking

**Preference will be given to those who have trauma training. Must be able to deliver services in-person in Guelph, ON.**

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 8-25 per week

**Salary**: $80.00-$100.00 per hour
