**About Us**:

**Responsibilities**:
The Department of History is looking to hire a student to be a part-time video editor. This video editor will compile raw footage and create engaging, high-quality videos to use to promote History programs at Western. This position can be performed remotely.

**Qualifications**:

- experience with software such as Creative Cloud, Adobe Audition, or similar
- experience producing videos independently
- Knowledge of industry standards for closed captioning
- Be responsible, highly motivated, and willing to take initiative
- Demonstrated resourcefulness with a strong sense of accountability and initiative
- Strong attention to detail

Education

Currently registered as a Western undergraduate or graduate student, preference given to History students

Consideration of applicants will include an assessment of previous performance, experience, and qualifications. Applicants should have oral communication skills in English.
