Liston Animal Hospital in Kanata has an immediate opening for a full-time receptionist. We are looking for an energetic and detail-oriented person with excellent communication skills to join our team. Our practice offers paid sick leave, extensive health coverage (dental and vision), pets discounts, and a uniform allowance. Salary is based on experience.

Experience working in a veterinary environment is an asset, however we also encourage those with less experience, but who have a strong desire to learn more about the veterinary field to apply. Experience with Avimark is considered an asset but not required.

Duties would include most aspects of client care, such as greeting clients, checking in pets for their appointments, weighing animals, answering phones, scheduling appointments, invoicing, keeping the reception area looking clean and organized, and answering client questions.
