- **Responsibilities**:_
- Perform general caretaking duties to ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of the building
- Clean and sanitize common areas, including: the sanctuary, restrooms, kitchen, hall, chapel and offices
- Dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors
- Emptying trash and recycling bins
- Restocking supplies as needed
- Reporting any maintenance or repair issues to the appropriate personnel
- Assisting with event setup and cleanup as required
- Adhering to all safety protocols and guidelines
- **Requirements**:_
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or facilities maintenance is preferred
- Ability to maintain a high level of cleanliness and attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks such as lifting heavy objects and standing for extended periods of time
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 13 per week

Flexible Language Requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

**Experience**:

- Cleaning: 1 year (preferred)
- janitorial: 1 year (preferred)

**Language**:

- English (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (preferred)

Ability to Commute:

- Dartmouth, NS B2V 2T1 (required)

Ability to Relocate:

- Dartmouth, NS B2V 2T1: Relocate before starting work (required)
