Spa Aquapath Attendant

The focus of the position supports and assists the Spa Manager in a Team Lead role for the Aqua Path, Hostess and Reception Attendants as and when needed in the Spa. This position reports directly to the Spa Manager.

DUTIES INCLUDE:
1. Demonstrates through their own behaviour the Service Excellence Standards of Living Water Resorts in providing a fun and caring environment for our guests/ clients which in turn will create special memories.
2. Responds to guest complaints and resolves them in a way that ensures the guest / client will return again and ensures that every guest / client departs happy.
3. Maintains and promotes among staff a “no compromise” attitude towards providing the highest possible level of Hospitality, Quality and Value to the guest.
4. A thorough knowledge and understanding of standards and procedures for the Aqua Path, Hostess and Reception attendants.
5. A thorough knowledge of all products and services offered at the Spa.
6. Assists management to consistently ensure the standards, policies and procedures of Living Shore Spa and Living Water Resorts are upheld and applied firmly and fairly.
7. Opens and closes the Spa in the absence of the Spa Manager ensuring appropriate housekeeping and presentation standards are adhered to following established procedures and checklists.
8. Ensure the workplace, both front and back is clean, organized and well stocked.
9. Brief hourly team members on functions and procedure of services in the absence of the Spa Manager.
10. Assist in staff scheduling, filing, data entry and laundry.
11. Oversee the tidiness, inventory and restocking of retail cabinets.
12. Demonstrates and reinforces leadership behaviours necessary to gain team members respect.
13. Effectively oversees team members during daily operations in the absence of the Spa Manager.
14. Checks on the number of daily reservations, coordinates with the Therapist Team Lead or in the absence of a Therapist Team Lead, the Therapist team.
15. Assists when needed in reserving group bookings.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Supervisory experience an asset
- Training experience an asset
- Strong passion in guest service
- Computer literacy in Word and MS Excel
- Possess excellent interpersonal and organizational skills and have a strong ability to prioritize.

WORKING CONDITIONS
- Works the majority of the time indoors
- Not normally exposed to hazardous chemicals
- Must be able to bend, reach, lift at least 30-35lbs
- Must be able to walk and stand for an average of 6-8 hours per shift
