Personal Support Worker

Ajax, Canada Private Home Care Full time

Supporting special needs young man.

**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare and assist with the dinner meal.
- engage in activities.
- Assisting with transferring from wheelchair.
- Outdoor activities weather permitted.
- Personal hygiene tasks.
- Prepare for the next days activities
- Attend to laundry duties
- Other responsibilities as they arise.

This position part time Monday to Friday afternoons/early evening. Occasional weekend/week long respite for the family (may include overnights). Flexibility with hours and availability is a plus. Desire to work long term in a private setting.

Qualifications: Designated in this field. Several years experience working with the special needs people. You are able to speak and understand English. Current first aid and CPR certificate. Own transportation.

Location: Ajax, Ontario

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: $18.00-$22.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
- Weekend availability
