Maintenance - Cleaner - Heavy Duty

**Job Title**: Cleaner, Heavy Duty

**Location**: Downtown, Toronto

**Rate**: $16.60/hr

**Shifts**: Monday to Wednesday - Mon, Tues, Fri, Sat, Sun - 3pm - 11pm, 7am - 12pm,
Overnight - 11pm - 7am (On call any day)

**About the Role**:
We’re looking for cleaners with a passion for a clean space This is a temporary opportunity to work for an organization that is proud to provide an essential service - keeping our communities safe & sanitized.

**What you’ll be doing**:

- Disinfecting all high touch point areas
- Sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming
- Cleaning building common areas, hallways, lobbies, bathrooms, kitchen etc.
- Collect and dispose of trash in garbage containers on a regular basis
- Spot cleaning walls, ceilings, partitions, light switches and windowsills, door glass
- Operating cleaning equipment
- Enhanced cleaning as per work orders when requested
- Additional tasks assigned by Manager

**You have**:

- Motivation and a willingness to work and learn
- Strong time management skills in order to ensure all work is completed by the end of shift
- Ability to take initiative to determine and complete necessary tasks, even with mínimal supervision
- Positive attitude and ability to work as part of a team
- Physically able to reach, stretch, bend, and walk during daily routine
- Cleaning and floor machine experience is considered an asset, but not required
- Experience operating an Auto Scrubber is considered an asset, but not required
- Must be able to pass a background check
