Carpenter Apprentice or Journeyman

**Job Type**:

- Full Time

**Responsibilities**:

- Work alongside and independently with our other Carpenters, Trades, and Project Management.
- Ability to listen and follow specific direction. Excellent oral communication.
- Experience using measuring tools and basic math skills.
- Willing to learn how to read Blueprints and build to meet current Building Code requirements.
- Construct walls, floors, roof systems, siding. Some site work may be required such as foundations and final building assembly.
- Physically demanding handling heavy materials, bending, crouching, kneeling, sitting, standing, walking.
- Strong work ethic and pride in workmanship.
- Follow all Safety Procedures and Practices. Have a Safety conscious mindset.

**Requirements**:

- Carpentry experience required.
- Basic Tools.
- Regulation Safety Wear including: Hi-Vis Vest, Steel Toes, Hard Hat, Glasses or Goggles.
- Transportation to and from Work

**Benefits**:

- Wage $22-$35 per hour based upon experience.
- Eligible for Medical, Dental, Long-Term Disability after 6 months of employment
- Monday - Friday 7:00-3:30 with consistent break and lunch schedule.
- LOA available on certain site locations.

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

**Experience**:

- carpentry: 1 year (preferred)

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Cumberland, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
