We are seeking an experienced clinical/medical assistant for our Family practice office. This is both a clinical and administrative role.

Duties/responsibilities:

- Completing a triage of patients (i.e. height/weight, blood pressure, temperature, patient history, urine dips, and pregnancy tests.)
- Preparing and Administering injections/immunizations with Physicians
- Assisting in patient care as needed
- Ordering supplies and stocking rooms
- Communicating with reception staff, patients, other physician offices, and pharmacies as needed
- Administrative tasks as needed such as such as scheduling, billing, faxing, documentation etc.

Qualifications/Assets
- Minimum 1-2 years experience in a clinical or medical setting
- Comfortable with clinical duties as listed above
- Well-developed time management, communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment
- Experience with or willingness to learn new techniques and develop procedural skills
- Experience with medical EMR systems is preferred, ideally PS suite

Start date is Flexible, will be prior to or on January 2023. This is a permanent position. We are looking for someone to be part of the Family practice team going forward.

**Salary**: $20.00-$22.00 per hour
