**Full Job Description**

**Responsibilities for Purchasing Manager**:

- **Develops a purchasing strategy.**:

- **Reviews and processes purchase orders.**:

- **Maintains records of goods ordered and received.**:

- **Negotiates prices and contracts with suppliers.**:

- **Builds and maintains relationships with vendors.**:

- **Evaluates vendors based on quality, timeliness, and price.**:

- **Schedules deliveries and ensures timely fulfillment of orders.**:

- **Researches and evaluates vendors to compare pricing and services.**:

- **Coordinates with fellow managers to monitor inventory and determine supply needs.**:

- **Ensures quality of procured items and addresses problems when they arise.**:

- **Keeps up with trends in procurement.**

**Qualifications for Purchasing Manager**:

- **Proven working experience as Purchasing Manager, Agent or Officer**:

- **Familiarity with sourcing and vendor management**:

- **Interest in market dynamics along with a business sense**:

- **A knack for negotiation and networking**:

- **Working experience with vendor management software**:

- **Ability to gather and analyze data and to work with figures**:

- **Solid judgement along with decision-making skills**:

- **Strong leadership capabilities**:

- **A degree in supply chain management, logistics, or business administration is preferred.**:

- **2-3 years experience as a purchasing manager or agent.**

**Schedule: Monday to Friday 8 am to 430 pm**

**Salary**: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
