We are currently looking for a Bookkeeper/Accounting Technician/Administrator to join our team to work on full-cycle bookkeeping for our business clients. This is a part-time position that can and will grow with the business.

This is a Chartered Professional Accounting firm focusing on the accounting and NTRs of owner managed based business, corporate tax, and individual tax. The position requires working from our office, and potentially away from our office at client’s premises.

The focus is on growing our on-line/cloud services to existing and newly obtained clients. Experience in similar positions is not mandatory but appreciated.

**Responsibilities**
- Provide monthly bookkeeping functions to clients including bank reconciliations, payroll, GST / HST returns, and accounts payable entry
- Communicate directly with clients about their books and correspond with other individuals involved in the bookkeeping process as required
- Learning about new technology and accounting software in the industry
- Proactively suggest ways we can improve our client record keeping
- Some administrative duties will be required (filing, preparation of client letters, etc)

**Desired Skills**
- Some formal education and/or experience in business, accounting, or finance,
- You can work independently but also appreciate collaborating with others
- Payroll experience/or training
- T1 &/or T2 knowledge and preparation
- You hold yourself to high standards especially when it comes to providing excellent client service
- You are organized, efficient, and detail oriented
- You have solid computer skills including Excel and Outlook and other Office 365 programs
