**Position**: JD Edwards Techno-Functional Specialist
**Location**: We are looking for a Specialist that would be located close to one of our offices in Vaudreuil-Dorion (QC), Burlington or Oakville (Ontario), Edmonton or Calgary (Alberta) or in Houston (Texas)
We work in a hybrid model and require a presence of 2 days/week in office.

We are currently looking for an individual with strong knowledge of the JD Edwards platform to join our Digital team We are looking for a JD Edwards Techno-Functional Specialist with strong in-depth knowledge of the E1 Distribution modules. Knowledge of the Manufacturing modules is a strong asset.
In this role, as a JD Edwards Techno-Functional Specialist, you will spearhead requirement gathering and validation, design, develop, test, and implement custom-tailored software solutions. Collaborating closely with internal users, the user experience team, and the digital team, you will ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
Under the guidance of the Application & Architecture Manager, the JD Edwards Techno-Functional Specialist holds a central role within the organization. We're looking for someone with experience in the supply chain or distribution industry who is driven by a passion for improving ERP system processes and who can identify opportunities for improvement. Rooted in in-depth functional and technical expertise, combined with extensive development and integration skills, you'll have a role that serves as a cornerstone for optimizing Quadra's operations processes.

What would be your main responsibilities as a JD Edwards Techno-Functional Specialist?:
Solutions Development and Process Enhancement (65%)
- Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze processes, and recommend solutions
- Works closely with collaborators to analyze business requirements and translate them into software solutions in order to improve value
- Proactively identify areas within the ERP processes and workflows where optimization if feasible why leveraging your expertise in order to recommend and implement improvements that enhance efficiency and productivity
- Remain abreast of JDE latest updates, ensuring comprehensive understanding and timely integration of relevant enhancements as warranted by business needs
- Conduct meticulous gap analysis, and identify discrepancies between existing system functionalities and business requirements, providing valuable insights to facilitate the implementation of targeted solutions that bridge these gaps effectively.
- Collaborate with external partners and liaise with the team in order to create enhancements tailored to our specification
Integrated ERP Solutions and Team Empowerment (25%)
- Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting to JD Edwards users while addressing issues related to functionality, performance, and integration
- Diagnose problems, implementation of fixes and provide users with training and documentation
- Create and maintain documentation related to JD Edwards
- Conduct training sessions to ensure end-users can effectively utilize the system
- Act as the Subject Matter Expert and Mentor for internal team members
Strategic Collaboration and Roadmap Development (10%)
- Foster collaboration with diverse teams and actively engage with them to design solutions that align with achieving business objectives and strategic goals
- Manage the integration of the newer version of JD Edwards; plan, coordinate, and conduct testing
- Plan and prepare implementation to upgraded version while minimizing disruption to ongoing operations
- Leverage your expertise to maximize the benefits of the platform
- Stay updated on new features, best practices, and industry trends related to JD Edwards and ERP systems in general
What are the requirements needed in order to have success in this role?:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer science, Software, Computer Engineering, or related fields
- Extensive understanding of JD Edwards EnterpriseOne, particularly in the distribution modules.
- Minimum of 2 years in JD Edwards orchestration with AIS services, and/or JDE BSSV/RTE integration
- Proven experience working in the distribution industry and/or Supply Chain. Working in a manufacturing environment would be considered as an asset
