Journeyman Painter

**Propak Systems Ltd.** is an established leader in engineering, fabrication, and construction of gas compression and processing facilities for the energy industry. We are currently seeking **Journeyman** **Painters **to join our Fabrication Shops in Airdrie, AB.

Key Responsibilities:

- Estimate the quantity of materials required by measuring surfaces or reviewing a work order.
- Select appropriate paint or mix according to a pre-determined formula.
- Operate hand-held spray guns to spray paint or coat stationary items with protective coatings.
- Clean and maintain painting and coating, ventilation, compressed air and personal protective equipment.

Qualifications:

- Hold a valid recognized Alberta Journeyperson Trade Certificate, or a recognized trade certificate or equivalency document.
- Inter-Provincial Red Seal Certificate is preferred.
- 1-2 years of directly related work experience.
- As a condition of employment, employees are required upon hire to sign a Drug-Free Workplace Agreement, a Conflict of Interest Agreement and Confidentiality and Invention Agreement.
- This position may be required to direct, coach, and mentor apprentices.
