Bartender & Server is responsible to take orders and serve food and beverage to hotel guests & patrons at tables in Restaurant outlets, ensuring all customers are served in a friendly, timely, courteous, efficient and customized manner. All Bartenders & Servers are to maintain an environment of teamwork in line with the Holiday Inn Sudbury Brand, Service and Health & Safety policies and procedures.

**Responsibilities & Duties**:

- Welcome and greet guests creating a comfortable and enjoyable experience for them.
- Take food and beverage orders from guests, enter orders in point-of-sale system.
- Deliver food and beverage from kitchen and bar to guests in a timely & efficient matter.
- Monitor and observe guest dining experience, ensuring that guests are satisfied with the food and service.
- Respond to all guests’ requests promptly and courteously to any requests.
- Prepare final bill, present to guest, accept & process payments.
- Knowledge of menus, food presentation, preparation and handling.
- Perform side duties at the start and end of each shift as required by service station assignment.
- Maintain clean and sanitary service areas at all times and in line with all Health & Safety standards.
- Assist fellow servers and team members with clearing, cleaning & resetting tables and/or any other situation that might arise.
- Ensure to fill in as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant as directed by Supervisor and/or Manager.
- Follow Holiday Inn Sudbury Restaurant & Bar policies and procedures & Brand service standards, Morning Matters & Room Service Right on Time.
- Any other duties assigned by Supervisor and/or Manager.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $15.50-$16.50 per hour
