**Cleaver-Brooks Canada Packaged Boiler Systems**, a leading manufacturer of boilers and energy recovery systems, has an immediate opening for a Parts Picker on the **second shift, which runs Monday to Thursday 4:00 PM to 2:00 AM** at their facility located at 161 Lorne Avenue, West, **Stratford, Ontario, Canada**.

**Essential Duties**:

- Material Identification: Read and interpret production orders, blueprints, and other relevant documents to identify the specific parts and materials needed for each fabrication project.
- Parts Selection: Locate and pick the required parts and materials from designated storage areas or shelves based on order specifications, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Quality Control: Inspect and verify the integrity and quality of picked parts to meet industry standards and customer requirements. Report any discrepancies or defects to the appropriate personnel.
- Inventory Management: Keep track of stock levels and notify the supervisor when supplies are running low, assisting in maintaining an organized and well-stocked inventory.
- Order Processing: Accurately record picked parts and materials in the inventory management system, updating stock levels and order status in real-time.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines while handling materials and operating equipment, ensuring a safe work environment for yourself and others.
- Collaborative Support: Work closely with other team members, such as machine operators and fabricators, to ensure the smooth and efficient production flow.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine checks and maintenance on picking equipment, such as forklifts, to ensure proper functioning and safety.
- Housekeeping: Maintain a clean and organized picking area, ensuring that materials are properly stored and labeled.
- Process Improvement: Suggest and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy in the parts picking process.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a similar role within the fabrication or manufacturing industry is beneficial but not always required.
- Basic knowledge of reading blueprints and technical drawings
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to follow instructions and adhere to standard operating procedures.
- Proficiency in using inventory management software or similar systems is an advantage.
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
- Must posses or be able to obtain a valid tow motor license.
- Experience in operating overhead cranes.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.

**Working Conditions and Hazards**:
Normal plant, shop, field or office conditions. From time to time, slightly disagreeable features. Negligible or no exposure.

**Hours of Work**:
Full time, Second Shift, 4:00 p.m. to 2:00 am, Monday through Thursday, with possible overtime.
