**What can I expect to do in this role?**: In this role, you will produce a variety of signs by:

- Manufacturing silk screen process frames and cutting profilm for silk screen process printing.
- Setting up silk screen using the knowledge of different inks used on various reflective and non-reflective materials.
- Operating a computerized sign-maker machine.

**How do I qualify?**:
**Technical Knowledge and Skills**:

- You have skills in Outlook, MS Word, and MS Excel and the ability to complete reports (such as Employee and Equipment time sheets, Work Reports, Accident Reports, Diary, etc.).
- You have knowledge of the Traffic Control Manual for Roadway Work Operations and the Manual of Uniform Traffic Control Devices.
- You have knowledge of the Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) and the Occupational Health and Safety Act.

**Essential Skills**:

- You have demonstrated coordination and dexterity to perform a variety of sign-manufacturing tasks.
- You are able to use a variety of hand-powered tools, table saws, and drill presses.
- You have the ability to follow and interpret sign layouts, and written and verbal instructions.
- You have oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
- You have the ability to work in a team environment, with minimum supervision and complete daily worksheets, often with tight deadlines.
