Office Cleaner

Stonebridge Community Services (SBcS) is a non-profit fee for service organization serving the tri-county area of Oxford/Elgin/Norfolk, providing a wide array of community support services. Staff and management provide high quality, client driven care programs which assist members of the community with their life care (home support) needs as well as provide health and wellness programs.

**Position Summary**:
The SBcS Cleaner is responsible for the daily cleaning of the Livingston Center and all occupant offices in this building. These services are consistent with the goals, purpose, and values of Stonebridge Community Services and its mission, vision, and core belief statements.

**As a Cleaner at SBcS you will**:

- Cleaners are expected to maintain a healthy balance to their workload and inform their direct supervisor should this healthy balance be threatened. The health and safety of all SB employees is of the highest priority.
- Cleaners must provide quality service to meet the service goals as outlined in the contract agreement with the client TCSI and this may include but is not limited to:

- Dusting, vacuuming, mopping floors, scrubbing surfaces, sanitizing surfaces, cleaning public washrooms, lunchrooms, and meeting rooms, offices, and daycare rooms etc.
- Daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning tasks as outlined in the Livingston Center task list
- Inform their direct Supervisor of all wait/delays in service provision
- Will honour their work-schedules as directed by their supervisor. Any changes in their schedule must be approved by their supervisor
- Will inform supervisor if cleaning inventory is running low
- Label and put away cleaning products accordingly

**What you bring**:

- Experience working as a Cleaner, specifically in a facility setting
- Must have completed First Aid training with a current and valid certification or willing to obtain
- Experience providing a high standard of customer service that is client focused
- Accountable, reliable, self-motivated with strong ethics and integrity
- Ability to work with mínimal supervision
- Level 2 Police Check required
- Ability to lift up to 30lbs
