**Nondestructive Testing Technician (NDT UDT)**

We're looking for an adventurous and detail-oriented NDT Technician to help us maintain and inspect the railway infrastructure. **What You’ll Do**:

- Conduct comprehensive NDT assessments, utilizing advanced ultrasonic, magnetic particle, and other testing procedures to evaluate the condition of railway systems, tracks, rail welds, and related components.
- Collaborate with a dedicated team by working closely with the Track Services Supervisor and your team to efficiently execute inspection tasks.
- Guarantee the safety and reliability of our rail infrastructure through meticulous and precise testing.
- Analyze and interpret test results in line with industry specifications and standards.
- Maintain detailed records of all inspections and results, adhering to project document management procedures.
- Prepare and execute NDT procedures and test plans.
- Calibrate NDT equipment and ensure it is ready for use before testing.
- Write detailed inspection reports and findings.
- Verify test results and assist in troubleshooting when necessary.
- Conduct routine checks to ensure equipment calibration and readiness.

**What is Required**:

- Must be willing to be based in the GTA and be ready to travel, including working nights and weekends, if required.
- Must have a full, valid Class G or higher driver’s license.
- As an indispensable Safety Champion, you will be required to have exceptional technical expertise and attention to detail, as well as excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Your technical expertise and attention to detail must be supported with experience and the right certifications:

- **Minimum 3 years of experience in NDT testing**, preferably in the railway or related industries.
- **CGSB Certification in Ultrasonic Testing (UTI) and Magnetic Particle Testing (MTII).**:

- **PCN PAUT Level 2 or equivalent.**:

- **PCN TOFD Level 2 or equivalent.**

**Experience**:

- non-destructive testing (prefer rail): 3 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

- (not expired) Class G drivers license (required)

- PCN PAUT Level 2 or equivalent (required)
- PCN TOFD Level 2 or equivalent (required)

Willingness to travel:

- 75% (required)
