Foreman/woman Carpenter

- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirements
- Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials
- Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and roof systems
- Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware
- Survey building locations and levels
- Instruct apprentices, Supervise other workers, Estimate costs and materials
- Other duties as assigned

**Salary**: $40.00-$50.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Revelstoke, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (preferred)

**Experience**:

- carpentry: 1 year (preferred)
