Brampton, Canada Villa Kitchens & Fine Cabinetry Full time

_Villa Kitchens & Fine Cabinetry_ has been designing, manufacturing and installing kitchens, vanities and other residential millwork since the 80’s.
- Create detailed shop drawings using AutoCAD/Cabinet Vision
- Good grasp of imperial and metric measurements a strong asset
- Prepare accurate and precise shop drawings for production, provide bills of materials, door lists etc.
- Communicate effectively with coworkers on shop floor and designers on all details of the project including missing information to ensure all parts ordered are parts required to complete the project
- Understanding the project requirements and collaborating with different coworkers to produce the drawings more efficiently ensuring the accuracy of information prior to production submission
- Carpentry/ Cabinet Making Experience is considered a strong asset
- Good understanding of different product builds, dowels, dados, etc.
- Good understanding of hardware
- Problem and technical solver
- Self driven and ability to work independently
- Some shop/machining experience is preferred
- Minimum 3 years of experience in custom cabinet and millwork or furniture design industry
- Very proficient in working with AutoCAD and Cabinet Vision software experience considered a huge asset
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent time management skills to meet deadliness
- Detail oriented individual with organizational skills
- A Self-starter, team player who is accountable and reliable

**Experience**:

- AutoCAD: 3 years (preferred)
- Drafting: 3 years (preferred)
