Baker

We are located in the heart of Toronto Premium Outlet in Halton Hills and are looking for five individuals who are excited and enthusiastic to join our team Be prepared to work in a fast paced, team work orientated environment this summer.

**Responsibilities**:

- Shape dough into one of our several unique Lucullus pastries
- Follow established recipes and formulas to achieve consistency in flavor, texture, and appearance of baked goods.
- Accurately measure and combine ingredients, using proper mixing techniques to shape dough
- Open or close your station depending on the shift
- Assist lead baker in producing baked goods at a fast pace
- Restock freshly baked goods in the display when needed
- Be cross trained to learn how to process orders for customers at the front cashier
- Inform supervisors when equipment is not working properly and manage when food supplies are getting low
- Complete various reports for records such as production, usage, and waste
- Communicate with the front of house team to ensure a smooth operation
- Inspect finished products for quality, taste, and presentation, making adjustments as needed to meet customer expectations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to food safety and hygiene standards. Regularly clean and sanitize baking equipment.
- Assist in managing ingredient inventory, notifying management when supplies need to be replenished.
- Work collaboratively with other team members, including kitchen staff and management, to ensure a smooth and efficient baking process.
- Provide excellent customer service by answering questions and addressing customer inquiries related to baked goods.
- Be open to learning new recipes and techniques, and adapt to changes in production requirements.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience as a Baker in a commercial bakery setting.
- Knowledge of baking techniques, equipment, and ingredients.
- Ability to follow recipes accurately and consistently.
- Strong attention to detail and quality.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Must be punctual and responsible
- High emotional intelligence with the ability to work with, and manage diverse teams by being highly empathetic, intuitive, self-motivated and driven.
- Stellar customer service, both internally and externally

Must be available to work weekends

Must have food handler certification

**Salary**: From $17.00 per hour
